Singer, Javine Dionne Hylton was born in London on December 27, 1981. As a girl, Javine had odd jobs like washing up in an old people's home, and working in shoe shops, but she says her heart wasn't in it and she preferred going to dance classes. Javine went to stage school from the age of ten, and at 18 she got the role of Nala in the West End production of 'The Lion King', which she performed for two years. Javine found fame on the ITV show Popstars: The Rivals, making it to the last six girl singers. However, amid controversy, Javine was not selected to be in the group that became 'Girls Aloud'.
